Chang 43's first
album is a fireball of social and political commentary, satire
and self-reflection, rock and roll, and traditional Taiwanese
opera. This is the first album released in Taiwan that expresses
political criticism and simultaneously explores the inner
landscape of an individual consciousness, with it's lusts,
failings, and dreams. Chang 43 is the founder and president of
tcm, and has also been active in Taiwan's anti-nuclear and gay
rights movements.
