Introduction

"Bobin and the Mantra" consists of four individuals having different back grounds and roots of music. In this band we are trying to cross over the barriers of roots and back ground to create totally a new kind of music, which is only possible through spiritual unity and respect for each other. We use ethnic and tribal as well as western standard musical instruments. But our goals are not just to create ethnic music. Our goal is to create whole new dimension of musical world. Not commercialized music but Root music, which is really inside our heart. We want to create music without any logic or calculation and we want to play music from depth our heart, which is the real message and power of Music. Music again is a non-destructive weapon for us. For us it is a tool to spread a message of Love, Peace and Respect around the world. We believe that there will be no Love and Peace in this world until the day we start respecting each other. We must respect each other's Religion, Culture, Race, Earth, Land, Air, Sea, Life, Sky, Universe......like we respect our MOTHER. Only then we could see real Peace and Love in our world and we can live in harmony. Our music is a harmony between different roots. This is our special message for everybody out there, Harmony. So lets us work together for Love, Peace and Respect.

He was born and raised in Okinawa, the most remote southern island of Japan.
